Neptune flooring is a stone polymer core (SPC) flooring. It is one of the oldest SPC floors available. Neptune’s laminate flooring has a core comprised of crushed limestone and resin (plastic/polymer). This core, unlike other laminates with wood fiber based cores, is impervious to moisture. Without the wood, there is nothing to retain water or swell or breakdown. Neptune  has industry leading durability. In addition to its waterproof core, Neptune, on our site, includes a 22 mil, wear layer. This flooring also includes and attached pad to correct for minor imperfections in the subfloor and reduce noises generated while using the floor.
